This volume has been rebound in green cloth with gilt title (STRING FIGURES), author (JAYNE) and decoration (double bars on head and tail). There have been tape-repairs made to many of the pages including the replacing of two missing corners. The 13 page ethnological introduction by Alfred C. Haddon. There are multiple instructional line-drawings on most pages. The 17 photos are of various peoples with a string figure tradition and these photos show their traditional clothing, their performing string figures, etc.
